Party Lights are always pleased to be involved in eco-friendly projects so were really interested when we were contacted about supplying lights for a wedding being held in one of the barns at Splattenridden Farm near St Ives in Cornwall and taking place tomorrow.
This venue is also the base for a local, family-run business called “The Green Waste Company” which provides a first class service and a wide range of options to meet waste and recycling needs. The Green Waste Company recycle large quantities of wood and green waste and are among the first of the waste handling companies in the UK to achieve Compost Association Accreditation.
Having a party in these simple surroundings with their green ethos meant that the bride and groom were obviously looking for lighting effects that would remain true to these principles and what better effects could we give them than our simple light bulb canopy as mentioned in our previous post.
What started out as a trendy “London thing”, this popular line is now making its way across the country. We would love to hear what you think.
